Please note that while the operation of this application requires that the HL7 v2 messages you provide are sent to the backend server for analysis, they are not retained there. As the messages pass through various components of the infrastructure to reach the validation server and the results are returned to your browser for display, the messages are not retained in any of the components in the path.
We very strongly advise against submitting HL7 v2 messages that contain Personally Identifiable Information to this service.
The Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia Quality Assurance Programs (RCPAQAP) developed a software platform for validating HL7 v2 Orders and Results messages for conformance with selected applicable Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA) Guidelines, the applicable Australian Standard and internal RCPAQAP rules for acceptance of electronic Results submissions to supported EQA Programmes.
The implementation of the guidelines and standards is a partial implementation.
Only guidelines, requirements and conformance points that can be automatically evaluated by an infrastructure of an Intermediary (as distinct from a human receiver), by inspecting the relevant HL7 v2 messages, were implemented.
Guidelines and conformance points which call, for example, for the evaluation of rendering of the content of a message were not implemented.
The development team implemented the guidelines and conformance points as its members understood them.
The implementation has not been peer-reviewed for correctness of interpretation.
Guidelines and conformance points which are not applicable to HL7 v2 Orders (ORM^O01) and Results (ORU^R01) were not implemented.
